We share DNA with our forbears and inherit certain physical traits and characteristics. We also share spiritual traits and characteristics from our ancestors. Locating their patriarchal blessings helps us to understand some of the spiritual gifts that we may have inherited from them. In many ancestor's blessings, certain promises are also given to their descendants, rendering that blessing then upon you, as one of their descendants.
