Prophets past and present have encouraged us to seek to understand how to part the veil between heaven and earth.

In April of 1977, in Lima Peru, Elder Bruce R. McConkie gave a talk that linked the Gathering to the building up of Zion. It was so important that President Spencer W. Kimball had it printed so that all members of the church could study it. Almost 50 years later, we can see the fulfillment of some of the prophecies given at the time by Elder McConkie. This talk is instructive to us as Gatherers in the last days as we have our eyes are fixed on that day when Enoch's Zion will be reunited to our Zion in the not to distant future. As President Nelson has urged, we are running out of time and we must understand the doctrine of the Gathering of Israel if we have any hope of entering that Holy City.
