Boyd K. Packer in this General Conference talk, not only testifies of the importance of the gathering of Israel, but also teaches many very short, succinct principles related to the holy work done in temples. One of the most comforting doctrines that he teaches is, "Veils can become thin, even parted. We are not left to do this work alone. They who have preceded us in this work and our forebears there, on occasion, are very close to us." We are not alone in the performance of our sacred work. Those on the other side of the veil are aware and the promise is that from time to time, the veil can thin and part in degrees that we may know more of those who we are serving on the other side of the veil and we may know in more detail who we are to help save.
